Homemade Curry puff

This is my 1st attempt of making Curry Puffs. Recipe is from my 2 aunties & I did it together with them.
We have this curry puff serve with coffee for our afternoon tea. Isn't it yummy!


Ingredient for pastry:
500g Plain Flour
4 tbsp oil
200ml water (adjust
salt

To make pastry
1.Sift the flour. Pour oil to the Sifted flour & mix well.
2. Dissolve salt into water and mix the water into step 1. and knead into smooth and non-sticky dough.
4. Cover with wet cloth & let it rest for 1/2hr, while U prepare the fillings.
5. Roll dough into thin sheet to make a half circle and wrap the fillings and crimp the edges.
6. Deep fry in oil until golden or bake 15-20 mins at 180c.

Ingredients for Fillings
150 gram of chopped onion.
1kg potatoes that are peeled and diced .
1 tablespoon of curry powder
3 tablespoon of oil.
Half a tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of chilli powder

Fillings
1.Heat oil and fry onion gently until golden brown.
2.Add curry powder, chili powder, onion and fry.
3.Add the chicken, potatoes, salt and cook for 5 minutes. (I use only potatoes)
